TNG Atlassian Expert

How can TNG help you?

TNG has been using Atlassian products internally since 2004 (JIRA), and even longer at customer sites. We have been using Wikis since 2002, and introduced the Enterprise Wiki Confluence with great success in 2008. We have been an "Atlassian Expert" since 2007 - that means TNG staff has a lot of experience in working with these tools.

In many software development projects (see our services) which TNG performs for customers (mostly in their rooms and infrastructure), we often introduce - in addition to agile development process models like Scrum, XP, Kanban, Test Driven Development, etc. - various Atlassian tools to work efficiently.

Due to the excellent experience - internally and from projects - we convinced an increasing number of clients of the benefits of Atlassian products, and have supported customers of all sizes in introducing these products, especially Confluence and JIRA. As part of an implementation project, we take into consideration issues such as concept development, installation support, configuration support, selection of appropriate plugins, operational concerns, training courses (for end users, administrators and plugin developers), custom plugin development or improvement of open source plugins, as well as help with upgrades or other tasks.

Additionally, in organizsations employing Scrum and/or Kanban, we like to show customers the benefits of issue tracking (JIRA+Greenhopper+Bonfire), Wikis (Confluence), source code repository browsing (e.g. FishEye), continuous integration (Bamboo or open source Jenkins) and review support tools (Crucible).

If you think TNG could help you, please contact us via info@tngtech.com, or have a look at our contact page.

Over the years we have developed several open source plugins (for customers and ourself) for Confluence and JIRA. If you have suggestions for improvements or other questions, please contact us via atlassian-plugins@tngtech.com.
An overview of all TNG developed open source plugins can be found at the Atlassian Plugin Exchange.

In late 2010, two employees of other companies and three staff members of TNG have founded the Atlassian User Group Munich. In 2011, several successful meetings have taken place, some with up to 70 participants. At one event, TNG was allowed to host the Atlassian User Group Munich, see details.
