DAAD IFI Network Meeting

On November 13th, 2026, our colleague Valentin Zieglmeier will deliver a keynote at the DAAD IFI Network Meeting at the University of Lübeck. In his talk "Can software be developed fully autonomously? A real-world view from two projects", he examines two real-world software projects with different levels of applied AI assistance: where are AI agents already capable of delivering functional software, where and why do they fall short, and why does effective autonomy still depend on humans providing context, making decisions, defining boundaries, and validating that the resulting software solves the right problem?
