data2day Conference Cologne
October 8th, 2026The data2day conference will take place on October 7th and 8th at KOMED in MediaPark, Cologne.
Our colleagues Dr. Dennis Schulz and Elias Schecke will represent TNG with their talk titled “Finally Understand Embeddings - And You Will Never Have to Search for the Right Emoji Again.”
They will provide insights into embeddings - the foundation for how large language models understand our world. They will also demonstrate how language is translated into vectors in multidimensional space, provide an overview of benchmarks, and explain how semantic search applications can be scaled. Their talk will be rounded off with a live demo in which the theory is brought to life using an emoji search application based on a finely tuned embedding model.
