eMerge 2026: TNG talks at Allianz's in-house conference
October 21st, 2026On October 21st and 22nd, 2026, eMerge 2026 takes place as an in-house conference hosted by Allianz.
Our colleagues Jonas Mayer and Thomas Endres present the Opening Keynote "Just like the Simulations: Teaching Robots to Play Chess." They provide insights into working with robot foundation models: Using a robot that responds to voice commands and moves chess pieces on a real chessboard, they cover training in simulation, synthetic data generation, and how to close the sim-to-real gap.
In addition, Lennard Schiefelbein and Jonathan du Mesnil de Rochemont present "Beyond the Score: Your Guide to Benchmarking LLMs" where they provide an overview of benchmarking large language models.
Our colleague Gerrit Buse will also be giving a talk, sharing his experiences and insights from internal projects at Allianz. Lukas Hauser will conclude the conference with the Closing Keynote, drawing also on his work on his client projects.
