Java Forum Stuttgart 2026
July 9th, 2026On July 9th, the Java Forum Stuttgart will take place at the Liederhalle Culture & Congress Center. With around 1,800 attendees, the JFS brings together practical knowledge on Java and the JVM - from the basics to product insights, across seven parallel tracks. The accompanying exhibition offers opportunities to network with experts, supported by a job fair and community partnerships.
Our colleagues Dr. Dennis Schulz and Elias Schecke will be presenting their talk “Finally Understand Embeddings - And You Will Never Have to Search for the Right Emoji Again.”
The focus is on how language is translated into high-dimensional vectors through embeddings - the foundation for the “understanding” of LLMs. Using an emoji search application, they demonstrate in a practical way how such models make semantic search algorithms scalable and accurately represent even complex meanings.
Further information about the conference can be found on the Java Forum website.
