With a new feature for our popular app "Custom Content for Jira", our Atlassian Apps team tackled one of the most overlooked aspects of cloud migrations: preserving the content of dashboards and other gadgets.

Our new Cloud Migration Assistant allows users to effortlessly take both the structure and the information within their entire setup to the cloud. This brings several key benefits:

• No rebuilding from scratch needed: Gadgets still contain relevant information, including configurations, embedded external material, and links.

• Familiar design and usability: Dashboards look, feel, and work the same as they always did.
