Migrating complex enterprise Java code with AI assistance

In our new article, we explain how we leveraged our Java AI Migration Tool (JAMI) to migrate a large, legacy Java codebase, with over 600 Maven modules and approximately 1.5 million lines of code, to a modern tech stack. Our colleages Philipp Schuegraf and Michael Pisula share key insights and learnings, including the benefits of combining AI-powered tooling with rule-based tools and expert oversight. Overall, our approach improved migration speed to approximately 30 minutes per module, which is a lot faster than manual migration approaches.
