TNG at DevDays Europe 2026

May 15th, 2026

Next week is all about conferences at TNG: In addition to our Big Techday, some colleagues will attend DevDays Europe 2026 in Vilnius. The international conference brings together developers from around the world to discuss current trends, technologies, and best practices in software development.

On May 20th, there will be three TNG talks on-site:

  • Áron Erdélyi will talk about “What the hell is up with MCP?”, exploring the evolution of the Model Context Protocol from its beginnings to its current governance under the Linux Foundation. The talk focuses on implementation challenges, unresolved security risks, and the fragmentation of the rapidly growing ecosystem.

  • Jonathan du Mesnil de Rochemont and Lennard Schiefelbein will present “Beyond the Score: Your Guide to Benchmarking LLMs”, offering a practical guide to evaluating Large Language Models beyond benchmark scores.

  • Dennis Schulz and Elias Schecke will give the talk “Finally Understand Embeddings – And You Will Never Have to Search for the Right Emoji Again”, covering the fundamentals of embeddings and showcasing practical applications of this technology.

More information about the program and registration can be found here.

If you can’t make it to Vilnius next week, you can still enjoy the talks at Big Techday. The program and options for remote participation can be found on our conference website.
