1. General
1.1.
TNG Technology Consulting GmbH is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your Personal Information. Please read below to learn how we process Personal Information in the apps for security cameras.

This Privacy Policy applies to TNG Technology Consulting GmbH (hereinafter "TNG", "we", "us", "our") and covers our processing activities as a data controller. It only applies to apps for security cameras. The websites and other software is governed by separate terms of use and privacy policies.
1.3.
The apps are owned and maintained by TNG Technology Consulting GmbH whose principal place of business at Beta-Str. 13a, 85774 Unterfoehring, Germany.
1.4.
Your data will only be processed on the security camera itself. User account information is stored in an encrypted form on the device. The underlying operating system provided by Security and Safety Things GmbH may transfer video streams to your video management system if configured and it serves the app's video stream and meta information derived from the video stream to authenticated users.
2. Definitions
2.1.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “Data Subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (hereinafter “Personal Data”).
2.2.
“Non-Personal Data” is data which will be logged for internal system-related and statistical purposes, which cannot be tracked back to you (e.g. used features of the app, time of usage, internal software errors). Data disclosing your identity will not be publicly used by TNG. TNG may, however, use any data collected in anonymized form, in particular for purposes of statistical analyses and improving the apps functionality.
2.3.
“Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
2.4.
“Consent” of the Data Subject means any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the Data Subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her.
3. Processed Data
3.1.
In the course of using the apps on the security camera, video streams are captured and processed by the app provivded by TNG. All of this data remains on the device or is transferred to your video management system if configured so.
3.2.
Any Personal Data you enter voluntarily, like user account information, is stored on the device in an encrypted form. These data do not leave the device except if the device itself is compromised by an attack.
3.3.
TNG never receives or processes any of the captured video data or voluntarily entered data. Processing is solely done on the device itself.
3.4.
In the Security and Safety Things GmbH app store you may have entered Personal Data that may be partially disclosed to TNG for the purpose of statistics, invoices and payments. For further information, please read their Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.
3.5.
Personal Data such as an e-mail address or phone number disclosed by you when filing enquiries or complaints may be used to process these.
4. Reason of the Processing of Personal Data and legal basis
4.1.
Personal data subject to this privacy policy may be used for the following purposes:
enabling the use of the app
dealing with enquiries and complaints made by you
4.2.
By using the apps provided by TNG, you consent to the processing of video data on your security camera so that the app can fulfil its purpose. If you no longer want the app to process data, please remove it from your device.
5. Transmission of your personal data
5.1.
For the purpose of enabling the use of the app no Personal Data will be transferred to TNG. To deal with enquiries and complaints you need to voluntarily disclose contact information in order for the request to be processed.
6. Term of storage
6.1.
The data that you may communicate to us to deal with enquiries and complaints will be stored until cancellation. Data are stored longer only where a legal obligation to do exists or where it is necessary for the enforcement of or defense against legal claims.
7. Consent
Where processing is based on consent, the data subject shall have the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Prior to giving consent, the data subject shall be informed thereof.

We will update this privacy policy when necessary to reflect customer feedback, changes in our services or legal changes.
