Protection of Applicant Data

On this page we inform you how we process your personal data within the application process at TNG. In this context, "personal data" includes all information relating to an identified or identifiable person and "processing" entails any process or series of processes relating to personal data, such as the collection, retrieval, access, use, disclosure, storage or destruction of personal data.

During the application process, we collect personal data from you. We may also collect information about you from third parties, such as recruitment agencies. Personal data includes, but is not limited to:

• First and last names
• Contact details
• Date and place of birth Citizenship
• Date of hire
• Place of employment
• Performance appraisals
• Professional status
• Training, certifications, and further education Documents on travel and expenses

We use personal data depending on necessity for all purposes in connection with the establishment of your employment relationship with TNG (Art. 6, 88 GDPR in connection with § 26 BDSG new). These purposes include in particular the recruitment and hiring of employees.

Personio GmbH acts as a processor according to §28 DSGVO.

As things stand at present, your personal data will only be processed within the European Union (EU) and Switzerland.

We have implemented appropriate and adequate organizational, physical, and technical security measures for your personal data. For example, your personal data is stored in electronic form on a secure server and stored on paper in physically secured areas. Access to your personal data is limited by means of technical and physical controls to those employees for whom knowledge is necessary. We keep your personal data for as long as legally permissible.

We do not make decisions regarding your employment based on automated processes only (no profiling).

You have the right to access your personal data and to request us to update, correct, or delete your personal data (the "right to be forgotten") in accordance with applicable laws. Furthermore, in accordance with applicable law, you may restrict and object to the processing of your personal data by TNG and have the right to data transferability. Your right to access your personal data includes the right to obtain a copy of all or certain parts of your personal data held by us, as long as the provision of such data by TNG does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

Right of objection: You have the right to object to any processing of your personal data, which is based solely on TNG's legitimate interest. If you make use of your right of objection, the processing of your personal data will be terminated as long as there is no imperative reason for further processing or processing is not necessary to assert, prosecute, or defend legal claims.

Should you have any questions or wish to exercise your rights, please contact our data protection officer by e-mail. You also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable data protection laws.
