Soon after Big Techday 23, another event was just around the corner: our summer party at the Jochen Schweizer Arena in Munich. Whether climbing in the high rope garden, body flying in the wind tunnel, surfing on an artificial wave or playing various games in virtual reality, there was plenty of action for both young and old. As always, our summer party was a great opportunity to try out new activities in fantastic weather, enjoy delicious food and to socialize in a relaxed atmosphere.

Big Techday 23 was a big success. With over 1,500 guests, the event at Motorworld Munich was fully booked. There were 41 talks by 55 speakers on a wide range of topics - from artificial intelligence and robotics to research, science and innovation, up to quantum computing. Additionally, we showcased numerous hard- and software exhibits. This year, the Haskell hackathon MuniHac was part of the Big Techday for the first time. Big Techday ended with two highlights: The evening talk by YouTuber Grant Sanderson alias 3Blue1Brown, and a simultaneous chess exhibition by Grandmaster Vincent Keymer who took on 26 opponents at the same time and after more than four hours emerged victorious in all games.

We want to thank our speakers, our guests, and all those who made the Big Techday possible. We are very pleased with the positive feedback and can hardly wait for Big Techday 24.

Every summer, we organize our annual strategy retreat, an event where the entire company comes together to collectively discuss our internal processes. The primary objective is to improve TNG for both our clients and employees. This year, our focus was on Artificial Intelligence, and our dedicated AI track of informative showcases and workshops was designed to keep us up to date with this rapidly evolving field. 

Of course, aside from the productive work sessions, we did not miss out on the fun. From sports such as hiking, tennis or Pilates, to karaoke and repairing old Game Boys, there was a lot offered to our consultants. With the TNG crew now consisting of nearly 800 individuals, our retreat also offered a valuable opportunity for personal interaction and getting to know your colleagues.

In 2022 we achieved a revenue growth of 29 percent only by organic expansion.  Within a difficult economic climate both in Germany and globally, the average revenue increase for the other companies within the list the stands at 14.5 percent.  Therefore, we climbed three steps as compared to last year's rating, landing us at the 16th rank.

Once a month the TNG Recruiting team invites interested applicants to one of our internal training days to take a look behind the scenes. Last Friday, we organized an Open Techday at our location in Hungary for the second time. Cintia Malnis and Ramona Bathelt welcomed potential new colleagues to the office in the heart of Budapest. The guests got to experience our corporate culture of continuous learning and a strong team spirit of all employees. Moreover, our consultants in Budapest gave first-hand insights into their daily work at TNG.

On June 2nd, our Innovation Hacking Team was featured on the WDR program "Aktuelle Stunde". The team showcased our deepfakes technology, which uses artificial intelligence to replace a person's head with another in real-time. In the segment, our colleagues Thomas Endres and Jonas Mayer explained how AI is able to instantaneously create these highly convincing deepfakes. Furthermore, they sensibilized viewers to the substantial dangers and challenges associated with this technology.
