AI in urban development: Showcase at the ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe

As part of our cooperation with the ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, we recently debuted a brand-new Innovation Hacking showcase at the Open Hertzlab. Using an interactive image AI, visitors virtually re-designed Karlsruhe's Market Square, for example adding trees, green facades, flower beds, or water. The innovative prototype then provided a direct impression of how the square’s look and feel would change.

With the valuable feedback from participants, we will further improve our prototype to provide a useful AI tool for imagining the future of urban living.
