One of our employees held a talk for the Munich Java User Group on the subject "Google Guava - that Unknown Creature". A video of the talk is provided here.
Big Techday 7
TNG hosted the annual Big Techday in Munich's HVB Forum with about 500 guests and 35 talks. Slides and videos of many talks are available. Selected talks from the Big Techday will be published on the accompanying DCD of the Linux Magazine.
Akka
We held talks about Akka at the new German Java conference JavaLand and the Munich Java User Group.
Atlassian
We organized an event for about 120 participants on the theme of "Getting Git Right" together with our Partner Atlassian.
Open Source
We published an internally developed framework (JGiven) for Behaviour Driven Development on GitHub. Scenarios are written using a fluent Java-API without requiring other languages such as Scala or Groovy. We have been using the framework in a project for four months and have written more than 300 scenario tests.
Lean Startup
One of our employees gave a talk at the Lean Startup Meetup.
PHP
We presented our PHP Rules Engine at the Munich PHP User Group.
CloudBees
Together with CloudBees, we organized an event with about 100 participants on the topic "Accelerating Application Delivery with Continuous Integration".
Java
Two employees published an article in Java magazine about a Java library for loading configurations, developed during an internship project.
