SW360 is a software component catalogue application developed by TNG. Recently, we updated SW360 to Java8 and newer versions of Tomcat, Liferay, Thrift and others. We made code and deployment ready for publication on github and developed new features.

Also the open source license scanner FOSSology has been further improved. For parts of it, we cooperated with the Linux Foundation.

We replaced the existing static routing in a PHP customer portal for a telecommunications company. The new implementation uses a URL-based routing layer based on the Symfony framework. This enables our customer to define meaningful URLs, simplifying end customers' experience and further optimizing pages for search engines.

A JSON schema generator for REST interfaces, developed in co-operation with a customer using Jersey and Java 8, was published as an open source project on Github: https://github.com/Mercateo/rest-schemagen. The software flexibly supplies REST resources with HATEOAS support. The definitions of links and rights are configured directly in the Java code.

We supported an international consumer device manufacturer in the introduction of a central system for internationalization, localization and content preparation for the IoT (Internet of Things). We supported the specification as well as optimizing the backlog and the agile process. We also contributed to development, enabling the product to be rolled out for new countries in 2015.

For an internationally active merchant we consolidated the web presence of the online shop and high street stores into a common system. It is now possible to develop and maintain cross-channel offers consistently using just one eCommerce platform.

We assumed the overall project lead in a strategic project for an eCommerce provider, as well as the Product Owner role for one of the three participating Scrum teams. We are additionally supporting the development in Java 8, Jersey and Guice with several people.

We switched the product index for a large online fashion retailer from a proprietary commercial solution to a self-hosted Elastic Search based solution. As well as considerable operational cost savings, we also accelerated the page delivery speed by 30%.

We supported a startup in the automobile industry with C# and .Net development, the setting-up of a continuous build infrastructure with Microsoft TFS and with creation of security concepts. The software is used in a central function at a sports car manufacturer.

We developed a JavaScript widget based on AngularJS for a payment service provider. The widget interactively documents the functionality of a REST API, automatically generating it from a Swagger JSON file.

We developed a browser plugin prototype for a service provider with high security requirements. The plugin supports all common browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer in various versions and is also platform- and operating system-independent.
