Euro-6 for Utility Vehicles

Beginning of September, the with Euro-6 required documentation for repair and maintenance goes live in the portal of one of our clients from the automotive sector. The therefore neccessary embedding of editorial content has been implemented and rolled out on schedule.

Basic Rules and Editor

For one of our clients we created basic rules that evaluate conditions for the orderability of products in natural language. We then can carry out actions based upon these conditions. We implemented the rules with ANTLR, which translates the rules in PHP predicate logic. We then created an editor on the basis of the Google code project Blockly, in order to allow simple editing of the rules for non-techies as well. Up until today, several hundreds of rules have been used in daily operations.

Migrating 10 million customers

We supported a big client with the migration of approximately 10 million active customers to a new country-wide backend system. The successfully completed migration ranks among the biggest changes at the central customer administration system since the beginning of its development more than 10 years ago.

Training | Agile Requirements Engineering

For a software producer in the health care sector, we conducted a three day training about agile requirements engineering. Besides Scrum, Kanban and techniques about user stories, we also discussed the challenges of large-scale projects.

Telecommunication Service-Management

An application developed by TNG for the service management in DSL-networks has been used for a considerably extended customer base. Meanwhile, more than 3 million DSL lines in Germany are managed by our application. Thereby, over 10.000.000 sessions per day are evaluated via our application in real-time.

Migration Support via detailed Reporting

For a telecommunications service provider, we shortly supported the migration to a new provisioning platform through creating and optimizing detailed reports. The reports were written in Oracle PL/SQL and analyzed the quantity structure and emergence of defects with migration problems. Through the improved transperancy, the migration could be pushed successfully.

We created a product information managegement software in a green-field project, using node.js and MongoDB in the backend and Ext JS 4.1 in the frontend.

TNG developed software components for a client using the programming language Scala. The components are running in production as part of the enterprise's software stack.

JIRA Implementation

We introduced JIRA for authentication and authorization management in a large insurance company, thereby rendering all paper-based processes in this area obsolete. We supported the business in clarifying processes and extended JIRA with a plugin for integrating external data sources, as well as to improve usability in JIRA for non-technical users. We created a model for the configuration, which can be used for an automated import into JIRA.
